Fundraising is an integral aspect to the ongoing success of the Tillsonburg Skating Club. Because registration fees do NOT completely cover the cost of operating the club, we rely heavily on fundraising. Fundraising helps cover the cost of a variety of Skating Club activities, including professional coaching, ice rental fees, skater badges, program props and office supplies.
Our fundraising efforts includes both mandatory and optional components. Each club member is required to complete mandatory fundraising as part of their program registration, while the optional fundraising supports the club and provides funds for costume rentals (for the Ice Show), extra ice for the Holiday Showcase and Family Santa Skate.
Nevada Tickets are one of our major fundraisers that is ongoing throughout the entire year. Nevada ticket funds are used strictly for ice rental costs. Please patronize our Nevada sponsor, the Broadway Tobacconist on Broadway Street in Tillsonburg. Thanks for helping our club!
Skate Canada Draw Tickets : Mandatory fundraising which was included with each skater's registration. This Skate Canada promotion offers a chance to win great prizes that an individual club could not offer alone.
